Rolling up on a Transition Patrol Alloy NX Complete Mountain Bike is the mark of a rider's rider. By using the best stuff from this morning, instead of obsessing over this afternoon, Transition has been able to spec a "budget-friendly" bike that can outperform bikes that cost five figures. The geo is the same, the aluminum is still light and strong, and the NX group is better than anything from two seasons ago. Meaning unless you're better than everyone from two seasons ago, this bike has more than enough in the tank. Let the gear gatekeepers argue over ounces on the internet: you'll be out ripping!
GiddyUp 2.0HH Suspension – Building upon the success of Transition's original GiddyUp suspension design, the new GiddyUp 2.0HH system has been refined for the modern two-wheel cowboy delivering a slightly firmer feel for more efficient pedaling, as well as more progressive travel that provides that extra little bit of bottom-out support when needed.
Speed Balanced Geometry – SBG ensures the bike maintains low speed agility, front wheel traction, and proper rider weight balance while actually increasing confidence in steep terrain and at high speeds. With SBG, a slacker head tube angle is combined with an all new reduced offset fork standard, preventing the front wheel from being too far in front of the rider. This improves front to rear weight distribution on the bike, which is often out of balance on long and slack bikes. One of SBG's greatest benefits is that it creates a confident steering feel that adapts to wheel speed. More stability when going fast, more agility on technical slow speed maneuvering as well as improved traction, control and confidence for any skill level of rider.
RockShox Super Deluxe Coil Select R Shock – A coil shock that not only looks the part but acts the part when teamed up with the latest breed of mountain machines. Offering a user-friendly threshold adjustment and all the control benefits of the Super Deluxe family.

SRAM’s signature ergonomics are supplemented by the tool-free reach adjust for a fit to each riders’ needs, to unleash Code’s superior braking power, consistency and modulation.
SRAM Centerline Rotors – The Centerline rotor was designed to keep the center of friction consistent throughout rotation, thereby minimizing vibration, offering consistent performance and a quiet ride.
Maxxis Minion DHF Front Tire – The Minion DHF was designed for the often loose and muddy conditions of aggressive all-mountain terrain. The DHF incorporates ramped knobs for low rolling resistance and channel-cut knobs to increase gripping edges, giving straight-line control and precise cornering.
Stan's NoTubes Flow D Wheelset – The Flow D was designed to live up to the quality you’ve come to expect from any product that bears the Flow name. Found as OE on builds from select brands, the Flow D is a value-driven all-mountain wheel designed to handle anything you can throw at it. The 29mm internal width is optimized for 2.35”-2.80” tires.
Maxxis Minion DHF Front Tire – With a tread design that deftly balances rolling speed with braking and cornering traction, it's hard to find fault with the Minion DHF. That's probably why it's one of the most imitated tires in mountain biking.
Maxxis Minion DHR II Rear Tire – With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the DHR II corners like no other. The center tread features ramped leading edges to improve acceleration and sipes to create a smooth transition when leaning the bike. Paddle-like knobs on the center tread dig in under hard braking and help keep the bike under control. Pair it with a Minion DHF up front for the ultimate aggressive trail riding tire combo!
